Hello Friends of Roselawn Centre! Excited to report that we are almost there! As you know, the Friends of Roselawn Centre have been working diligently to raise $50,000 which is the amount required for us to keep the $140,000 Canada 150 Grant. It’s absolutely wonderful that we can now say that we have turned a corner, passing the $40,000 mark! Only $9,637 left to raise…so very, very close!

We are so thrilled to be at this point and are grateful for the generous support of our members. Many thanks to Showboat Festival Theatre who recently donated $3,653 to our campaign.

Plans are in process now to begin the much needed repairs to Roselawn. The goal of the Capital Campaign is to repair the roof, brickwork and third floor, bringing the mansion back to its original beauty. We want to create a home for arts and entertainment to ensure a vibrant cultural life for our community.

Please continue to support this worthwhile cause. Your donations have significantly helped us come close to the $50,000 goal and it will be great to know that the Canada 150 Grant, which is being matched by the City of Port Colborne, will be secure and available for the completion of all repairs needed.

To donate: please make your cheque payable to The City of Port Colborne. Please note on your cheque that the donation is for the Friends of Roselawn Centre Capital Campaign Endownment Fund and indicate if you give your permission to publish your name or company name. Then mail to Roselawn Centre for the Arts, 296 Fielden Ave., Port Colborne, ON L3K 4T6. You can also call or visit Terry at Roselawn 905-834-7572. We accept cash, credit or debit. For further information on this campaign, please email us at friendsofroselawn@gmail.com.

Many thanks in advance for your contribution!
