A handful of aspiring cooks participated in the Christmas Hors d’oeuvres course offered December 7th at Roselawn Centre.
The Centre’s chef, Lou Caetano, guided us through the steps for six easy-to-make holiday recipes. These delights included phyllo pastry turnovers with shrimp and ricotta filling, artichoke hearts au gratin, spinach cheese squares, an oreo cookie marshmallow pie and (everyone’s favorite) cream cheese PENGUINS! The penguins were a big hit!
